Connect Spdif To Receiver How Do I Connect My Philips TV To Sony Receiver?

How do I connect my Philips TV to Sony receiver? - connect spdif to receiver

I think Sony surround 42PFL3603D/F7 my new Philips LCD TV. I'm connecting through my receivers optical input, but it seems that the audio output of my TV is "SPDIF Out". Never heard of it? Is there an optical SPDIF cable? Thanks in advance!

s Audio / PDIF output.
If your TV has a protective film on the SPDIF, remove it and connect an optical cable. If there is an RCA connector, then connect a coaxial cable "audio cable (if an RCA cable should work well, ..).

Your receiver must have two coaxial and optical digital audio Sony, then only the cable you need.

SP / DIF optical digital. In particular, I am pretty sure that this damn Toslink, the most popular way to transfer digital audio surround sound stream in the consumer electronics and professional.

What you need Monoprice. I think it is the right product for you, but check first, by examining the spark plugs on your TV and receiver:
